The Seacoast Storytellers Guild

November is the month of Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, and downed leaf time. A colorful tapestry of fall foliage covers our yards and road ways. Clock hands fall back an hour returning us to Eastern Standard Time in New Hampshire. Temperature fluctuations warrant our planning ahead to dress in layers as morning frosted landscapes later become balmy until the waning sunlight heralds the return of crisp night air. New Hampshire citizens exercise their right to vote at election polls on November 6th.
This is a time to share stories of reflections, thankfulness, bravery, family, heroes, and great adventures. It is time for tales of sacrifice for the greater good, the unexpected journey, or the road that brought you to just the right place in life. This is the time to gather your stories to learn, tell, and share.
Just tell your story from the heart and let it wrap your listeners in a warm embrace, a world of fantasy, a thrilling experience, or a useful lesson.  Whatever you choose will be a gift only you can deliver.
For our Monthly Meeting, on Wednesday, November 7, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM we will meet in the MacLeod Room on the second floor of the Portsmouth Public Library in Portsmouth, NH. Please bring whatever story you have to tell. Our evening agenda will include storytelling by our members and any business updates members wish to report.
Any questions or concerns, contact Seacoast Storytellers CoordinatorDebra Ballou, via seacoaststorytellersnh@gmail.com or 603-749-9634. I look forward to seeing you all at our monthly meeting.
