Baba Yaga might be trendy now, but she is so much more. Goddess. Cannibal. Teacher. Guide. As a child my great-aunt told me stories learned from her ancestors, and I was captivated and terrified. As an adult I have found her in unexpected places, including my own reflection.

Becoming Baba Yaga explores the connections between stories, intergenerational trauma, magic, and what it means to fully embrace your self. Personal narrative is woven into a traditional Baba Yaga tale, and the Witch of the Woods has a thing or two to say herself. Written and performed by award-winning storyteller Laura Packer.
The performance runs 50-60 minutes, and includes a talkback after to discuss process, etc. The talkback will not be recorded.
