Sharing the Fire Conference Hotel Information

We are so excited to welcome you to the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel, located at 250 Market St, Portsmouth, NH 03801. It is a beautiful hotel with lots of windows, delicious food, and ample social space. This is the same hotel we used in 2023, and our guests raved about it.

Lodging

We have negotiated a special conference rate of $159/night for either double or king rooms. Each room has its own mini fridge, safe, and coffee maker. This is one of the nicest hotels in the area, located in downtown Portsmouth, right by the ocean, shopping, and several phenomenal restaurants! (We were lucky to get such an incredible rate.)

To take advantage of this steeply discounted rate, please use this link:
Book your room at the special discounted rate for Northeast Storytelling
Last Day to Book at this rate: Sunday, February 25, 2023

If you want to book rooms in the three days before or after our conference, please call the hotel directly at (888) 627-7138 or (603) 431-2300 and tell them you are with Northeast Storytelling. You should be able to get the discounted rate, provided the hotel has availability. (If you encounter any problems, please email nestorytelling@gmail.com)

ADA compliant rooms are available.

Complimentary internet access is available in the guest rooms and meeting spaces (unless requirement is above hotel’s current capability)

We also have complimentary use of the indoor pool and fitness center.

Standard check-in time is 3:00pm, checkout time is 12:00pm.

The hotel recently updated their entire ventilation system to offer extra protection against the spread of COVID-19 and other airborne pathogens.

The guest rooms have been completely remodeled since June of 2022.

The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast. Saturday and Sunday breakfasts are included with the Full Conference Registration. You are also welcome (and encouraged) to purchase a separate discounted ticket for a catered Saturday lunch for $30. Please note that the hotel has a small restaurant, but it is also open to the general public. We are not able to reserve tables there; they are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. As it is a popular local destination, they are unlikely to be able to meet the needs of all our attendees for any one meal. There are several excellent restaurants within a 3-10 min walk of the hotel, and even more within a short drive. Portsmouth is known as a foodie hotspot, so you really can’t go wrong with any of the local establishments.

Parking

We were able to negotiate a discounted parking rate of $20/night - down from $30/night. Simply park in the self-park lot across the street, leave the ticket in your car, and use your room key to enter and exit the lot. The discounted rate will be billed to your room. NOTE: If you use valet parking, the rate will still be $35/night.

If you are coming only for the day and not staying at the hotel, you can also access a reduced parking rate of $10/day. Please pay at the front desk, and tell them you are with Northeast Storytelling.
