John Sanders tells the delightful stories of Gianni Rodari, the greatest Italian children’s author of the 20th century, winner of the 1970 Hans Christian Andersen Award. Rodari’s works have been translated into about 46 languages, but very few have made it into English, due to attitudes held over from the McCarthy Era. John is rectifying this oversight.
