There are Hans Christian Andersen tales, and global stories with music. The series is curated by world renowned storyteller Laura Simms Storytelling brings everyone together. Parents who grew up listening to stories at the Statue return with their own children. Music welcomes us into an oasis of laughter, and deep listening with diversity, kindness and participation. Come early, stay late and have a picnic, hear stories you can share for years. Don’t forget to join us for our annual Ugly Duckling’s Birthday Party on July 27th. Heather Forest will tell Andersen’s Duckling Tale with guitar. Laura Simms with violinist Shem Guibbory will perform The Nightingale and other tellers will join us!
