New Hampshire storyteller Andy Davis, will tell tales to inspire and amuse, which includes personal tales, a bit of folklore, and a smattering of history, taking listeners back and forth across the Atlantic and from ancient times to the recent past. Davis's father grew up in Sharon, from the time he was born in 1926 until he enlisted to fight in Europe in 1944. Two stories will be infused with his father's love of his hometown.

This event is one of 20 performances through New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts this summer, from Burlington to Provincetown, all by bicycle, on two tours totaling 24 days and 900 miles. Andy Davis got his start as a storyteller telling comic tales by candlelight in Mexican refugee camps 30 years ago. He has since broadened and refined his craft and has entertained audiences from Bamako to Seattle with his signature blend of infectious humor, sly wisdom, and a cheerfully subversive spirit.
