Pat Spalding, from Rye, NH, is a monologist/majorette who spins tales and twirls a baton (although not simultaneously.) She is emcee of True Tales Live, truetaleslive1@gmail.com a monthly program of live storytelling recorded at PPMtv, and a majorette with the Leftist Marching Band. Pat has written and performed several one-woman shows including: We Stayed Together For the Puppets, A Bomb In the Closet, and Dancing With Dad. For the last four years she has focused on listening to, learning from, and encouraging the stories of others. You’re welcome to arrive early for complimentary dessert/coffee/tea at 6:30. At 6:45 we take our seats for the Opening Act, and then the feature goes on at 7:00 for a 45-60 min. set.
Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted to support our featured teller, who often travels many miles to tell us stories! Some tellers bring books or recordings with them, and they are always glad to talk with you about their work after the performance.
