Event Description: Folksinger and storyteller Tim Van Egmond will perform for a family program (all ages welcome) on Saturday December 10 at 11 AM, at the Russell Public Library. As part of the library’s month-long theme, “Celebration of Light” Van Egmond will present songs and stories honoring the illumination in the season’s major holidays and traditions. A versatile performer, Van Egmond moves easily from a rousing singalong to a gripping story. He accompanies himself on guitar, hammered dulcimer, and mountain dulcimer. His spellbinding talent, dynamic style, and engaging warmth create a magical experience for all ages.
