The Noise Witch aka T.J.Banate:
The Noise Witch’s storytelling is a portal. It weaves together lush visuals, dreamlike soundscapes, and poetic language with a wild heart and a wink. Through a mix of art, music, magic, and quirky silliness, Noise conjures worlds where personal history becomes myth, and myth feels deeply personal. Their work draws from ancestral memory, neurodivergent perception, and lived experience as a queer, intersex, Filipino creative who lives in the liminal.
Each story—whether in song, sketch, ritual, or prose—is a shapeshifter: sometimes tender and soft, sometimes sharp and surreal, always infused with spirit and a sense of wonder. One moment you’re laughing at a comic about ADHD time loops, and the next, you’re inside a vision of rebirth and remembering.
This is storytelling that blurs the line between the sacred and the silly, the cosmic and the intimate. It invites you to reflect, feel, laugh, reclaim, and dream all at once. Noise isn’t just telling stories; they’re building portals for others to step through, rediscovering their own creativity, weirdness, and inner mythology along the way.
