Sharing the Fire 2026 and 2027 will all be held at the historic, beautiful, and completely renovated Queensbury Hotel. We are excited to celebrate their 100th Birthday with them in 2026!

The Queensbury Hotel in downtown Glens Falls has been regarded as the city’s centerpiece since 1926. “The Q” features 123 newly renovated and carefully appointed guest rooms with contemporary room designs and classic comforts. Amenities include a large indoor heated pool and hot tub, two restaurants, free parking, free high-speed wi-fi, a fitness center, a salon, live jazz, refrigerators in all guest rooms, EV Charging Stations, and more - all within walking distance of numerous downtown restaurants and shops!

Location

The Q is centrally located between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, in the Arts District of historic and charming Glens Falls in upstate New York. Fabulous restaurants, shopping, and attractions are within walking distance. We will be blocks away from the Wood Theater, LARAC (Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council) Arts Services Center and Gallery, the Folklife Center at Crandall Library, and the Glens Falls Hospital. Come early or stay late to head into the Adirondack Mountains, down to Saratoga Springs or up to Lake George and experience four seasons of fun and attractions.

Getting There

Many of our attendees choose to drive to the conference. The hotel has a large FREE parking lot, and is surrounded by ample free street parking.

The Fort Edward-Glens Falls Amtrak station is 6 miles from the hotel, a taxi/lyft/uber ride of about 15 mins. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area.

The Flix Bus and Greyhound Bus stop is on the road between The Queensbury’s parking lot and the Rite Aid Pharmacy. The Trailways Bus stop is located ⅓ of a mile from the hotel.

CDTA can help you get around Warren County.

We will also be organizing some carpools from the Albany Airport. Check back here this winter for more information on connecting with other attendees to share a rental car/taxi/uber/lyft.

Cost

The conference will be held on the first and second floor. We have negotiated a discounted room rate for all STF attendees. Friday and Saturday nights are $149 each. Thursday night is $114. The group rate of $114.00 will be honored 2 days before and after the event dates as long as the Hotel is at 80% occupancy or below. For each additional person (over two people) ages 13 and up sharing a room there will be an additional room charge of $10.00 per person per day.
