We will feel and listen for stories and creativity bubbling up from our bodies as we enter
the shifting of seasons.

OARS in the Water is a facilitated Zoom gathering on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month offered by Healing Story Alliance to create a listening space to share the experiences and stories that have emerged through turbulent times. This is not a therapeutic circle but we do hope it will be healing, supportive and inspiring.

ABOUT the HOSTS for March 9th

Jan Mullen is a Clinical Social Worker who now sees clients virtually from her home in Downers Grove, IL.  She has found the telling of healing stories to touch hearts in a gentle and yet profound way, and has professed her deep love of healing stories to colleagues and in workshops and therapy conferences.  Jan knows that Story is Medicine, and has crafted stories to speak to the inner world of clients with healing messages.  Jan is also a lover of nature, has learned that to be fully alive is to live in the body, a challenge for our times.

Karianna L. Rosenberg, through her life journey, has gained a deep understanding of the power of stories for healing and for planting seeds of awareness. One of her greatest passions is being a storyweaver building community and connections for and with others through story and experiences in nature. Along with performing stories for the past two decades, Karianna has been part of the global nature connection movement. She co-founded Two Coyotes Wilderness School in Connecticut where she teaches both children and adults. She also teaches wilderness classes regionally and internationally, online. She offers courses for adults through Earth Song Transformations where she guides deeper connections to nature, oneself, others, and spirituality. Karianna is also a dancer, healer, and basket weaver. She holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching English and Spanish as Second Languages.
