The 36th Annual Winter Solstice Storytelling and Songfest Celebration will be a virtual event this year, taking place on Monday December 21 at 7 PM EST. This will be a benefit concert with a link provided for donations to Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, to help alleviate worsening food insecurity under the pandemic. Voluntary donations will be welcome before or during the program (especially the intermission).

The tradition of the Winter Solstice Celebration has been to celebrate the longest night of the year and revel in the return of the light with longer days. Bekki Tippens will be MC for the performers sharing stories and songs this year: Michael Evans, Jay Goldspinner, Yosl Kurland, Rona Leventhal, Rob Peck, Sarah Pirtle, John Porcino, Bob Reiser, Tim Van Egmond, and Rochelle Wildfong, joined by guest artist, Christy Grecsek.
