Simon Brooks is a storyteller who has entranced audiences for over 10 years. He has performed in the UK, and in the USA where he has resided since 1994. His tales, both live and his award-winning recordings, combine the intensity of solo performance with the intimacy of face-to-face conversations, delighting all.

One Voice, Many Characters with Genevieve Aichele
Learn a variety of vocal techniques to increase the flexibility and suppleness of your voice, and vary tone, pacing, volume, and coloration while storytelling. For performers, teachers, and public speakers of all interests and abilities. Bring a story to explore – personal, business or a traditional tale.

Off the Page: Storytelling and STEM with Catherine Stewart
Use science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to spark compelling story-making. Whether you’re an educator looking for ways to create experiential learning opportunities for your students, a parent looking to engage your family in creative play or a professional working in these fields looking to share your work with a wider audience, this workshop will delve into the techniques used in crafting an engaging and entertaining story. Through the techniques of docu-drama participants will use real-world experiences, phenomena, and theories to construct and present stories based in subjects across the curriculum.

Fast Track to Storytelling with Simon Brooks
Learn exciting and fun ways to use your voice, body, and presentation skills to tell both traditional and personal stories with a unique personal style. Fracture fairy tales, change points of view and put your own spin on storytelling to create vivid and exciting experiences for your audience.

Loves Labors, Loves Lost
It’s not Shakespeare! Sometimes the happy ever after takes hard work, sometimes it comes naturally, and sadly, sometimes it is lost. In these tales, British storyteller Simon Brooks will lead you merrily through many types of loves labors and losses with a smile and wink on his face. Simon will bring the worlds of his to life in front of you, so he all but vanishes, leaving only you and the story.
