AUDIENCE DYNAMICS

Storytelling, whether live or virtual, is an act of personal connection. The relationship between the performer and audience is critical. But how do you know if you are making that connection when you are recording a story, or telling it online with a muted audience? This workshop will give you tools and techniques to help your audience connect both intellectually and emotionally to you and your stories. Each student will bring a 5-minute personal story to work on, so you will also develop direct experience in applying these techniques to your work.

SESSION: This class meets on the following dates.

Zoom Training & Student Introductions: June 14 from 2-3 pm

Classes:  June 21, 28, and July 5 from 2-4 pm

Registration Fee:  $65 for NEST members, $75 for non-members

Note: Financial assistance may be available for those in need.  Contact Deb Roe at nestorytelling@gmail.com
