An exploration of the little known, but strong ties between Haiti and the US, including historical events in Antebellum America, the impact of the Haitian revolution (1791-1804) and its leaders Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines on crucial aspects of US history such as the abolitionist movement and the American Civil War. With Charlot Lucien, the founder and director of the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts. He is also an established storyteller, visual artist, author , and media personality.
