Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery highlighting and honoring the cracks rather than hiding them, is a perfect metaphor for a guided discussion and exploration of layers of meaning. Narrative Therapy Practices honor and acknowledge the layers of influence that impact our view of self, other and the world around us. Melding these two practices is an opportunity to question, reflect, unpack and create a preferred story.
Mending What’s Broken through the physical art of Kintsugi ~ a great follow-up to Kristin’s presentation at Sharing The Fire!
Kristin facilitates this hands-on session inviting participants to experience doing the art of Kintsugi while reflecting on questions such as: What do we notice as we break and mend a piece of pottery? What is revealed in the pieces and gluing?
Tickets: $40
