A one-woman play featuring the spoken word of icon author, poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, America’s own Shakespeare and Godfather of the Spoken Word movement in America. Set during the 1800’s nearing the end of the Civil War, Elias’ mother speaks of life with family and friends. Due to a virtual presentation, the format will be in a “readers theater” where Oni Lasana as ‘Lias’ Mother, will give brief insights before delivery of each prose. Best of all it’s FREE!
