The theme for this PechaKucha event is ARTS, SERVICE AND “UNIQUE SLICE OF LIFE” STORIES. You will be sure to hear authentic, possibly unexpected personal stories — interesting experiences that may make YOU laugh, cry and/or spark new ideas!
PechaKucha translates to “Chit-Chat” in Japanese. It’s a form of visual storytelling where a group of people each presenting for six minutes and forty seconds with 20 compelling photos or visuals shown 20 seconds each. This makes each story succinct, interesting, inspiring, fun and/or funky. A PechaKucha is a tasty storytelling feast!
This PechaKucha is also a unique closing party of the Bridgeport Art Trail weekend, celebrating the art of conversation and community.
The Bijou Theatre doors open at 6 pm. $1 contribution goes to the international PechaKucha.org. Food and drink will be available to purchase!
