Pyramid Life Center’s annual Storytelling Weekend, July 16-18, led by storyteller-author Marni Gillard and Sudanese-American spoken-word-artist, Ayah Osman, member and coach of Children at the Well (www.withourvoice.org.) Open to new + experienced tellers. Bring one or more tales, poems, songs to explore as your “story” work.Pyramid camp retreat is on a stunning no-motor-boats Adirondack Mts. lake. Workshop #1 follows Friday dinner. Please arrive by 5 p.m. to check-in. We meet at dinner before the 7:30-10 opening session. Workshop #2 follows Saturday breakfast. After lunch FREE TIME: swimming, hiking, labyrinth walk, etc. After Saturday supper we perform (limited lengths, depending on attendants). After Sunday breakfast we share reflections and insights. $175 covers meals & lodging. Register on website or call the event phone # above.
