Storyteller Denise McCormack brings an LVSG virtual event: SNOW! on December 20. Running Time: 45 min.

According to Denise McCormack, “The Family Series is a wonderful opportunity to introduce people of all ages to the art of storytelling and to storytellers with all kinds of stories and styles of telling. This year, we’re especially excited to outreach to our fan base as well as to a whole new scope of newcomers by means of virtual presentations. We expect that each month will bring something new and improved as we work to adapt and hone this new world of technology in a way that preserves the integrity and grip of the storytelling experience.”

About the Teller

Denise McCormack is a professional storyteller, educator, workshop presenter, and coach whose story selections and tenets resonate with listeners to foster empathy, understanding, and self-reflection, and to strengthen community.

She is a published author of prose, poetry, and educational texts, and her performances have earned high praise throughout the region.

Coordinator and producer of the LVSG Family Storytelling Series
President of the Patchwork Storytelling Guild
NJ state liaison for the National Storytelling Network

About the Lehigh Valley Family Storytelling Series
The LVSG Family Storytelling Series will run virtually from December through June, feature a unique teller and theme each month, and conclude with a variety showcase of tellers and tales in June. As in past years, we are delighted to partner with local libraries, Godfrey Daniels, and Cops N Kids. The series is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended.

About the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild

The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild started in 1998 to promote the art of storytelling in the Lehigh Valley and presents numerous showcases, appears at festivals, conducts story circles and workshops, and its members often perform at various other venues and events. LVSG typically meets at Godfrey Daniels Listening Club on the second Wednesday of each month except August.
