WORLDS APART: TALES FOR LOVERS

WORLDS APART: TALES FOR LOVERS for Valentines’ Day/Adult Storytelling at Grendel’s Den
For Valentine’s Day, master storyteller and musician Odds Bodkin tells two long love tales. First, The Crane Wife from ancient Japan, performed with Celtic harp. Adapted from Bodkin’s beloved picture book, this story explores love, trust and magic in a relationship. Next, on 12-string guitar, Bodkin performs The Dame Ragnell, a 14th century Arthurian tale centuries ahead of its time. The story asks the eternal question, “What does a woman desire most?”

Find a table, order up a special Valentine’s Day meal, and settle in for an evening of gorgeous storytelling.
