Harry Mishkin

Harry Mishkin transports his audience to new perspectives with tales from his past roles as counselor, prison grievance investigator, radio dj and journalist and his reckless ride through the Sixties. Adding soundtracks and music he created to some of his tales and using a rich range of voices and gestures, his storytelling ventures into the realm of performance art, earning him at least one rave review: “I have never heard anything like that.”

He has performed for the Wake Up and Smell the Poetry access TV show in Hopkinton, the Amazing Things Art Center in Framingham, Story Space, MassMouth story slams, as well as venues in Providence and Worcester.

A talented writer, Harry can create stories for specific audiences from current-day facts, historical figures or ancient folk-tales.
