Fiercely passionate about empowerment, connection, and compassion, Jannelle aims to use this trinity to set herself free. She would love to take you with her, but only if you want to come. With humor and unapologetic courage, she speaks to issues we are trained to keep hidden. She is a shame banisher, a spell weaver, and occasionally offers comedic relief.

Jannelle has been writing and performing since the last century, when she first stepped into the spotlight as a producer and host. When she isn’t writing and performing, she’s building, fixing, creating, powerlifting, pushing her face slowly into soft things, or attempting to casually talk to her two daughters about consent.

She has been a featured teller at WGBH Boston, World Channel and Massmouth's television series: Stories from the Stage, The Emily Dickinson Museum, Club Passim, The Davis Square Theater, The Mount, The Coolidge Corner Theater, The Out of the Blue Gallery, The Corner, The Lilly Pad, The Lars Anderson Auto Museum, at many Massmouth events and is an official Fugitive Storyteller of Fugitive Productions.
