I help transform the spoken word into written stories that preserve the teller’s voice. The challenges of communicating the essence of story to audiences is something one learns through practice.

For fifteen years I performed as a professional storyteller, as a long-time member of NEST (fka LANES), sharing stories and songs for very young (pre-school to early elementary) audiences.

In the past eighteen years, my byline has appeared in numerous publications, including the Christian Science Monitor, the National Storytelling Network magazine, and countless more local publications. I’ve authored several non-fiction books, and also provide editing support for those who want to write their own stories.
