Ageless Grace

Ageless Grace is a cutting-edge brain fitness program based on neuroplasticity that activates various functions of the brain – strategic, analytical, kinesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination – and simultaneously addresses the physical skills needed for lifelong optimal function. The program consists of 21 simple exercise tools designed for all ages and abilities with exercises, based on everyday movements.

Leader:   Linda Schuyler Ford, a seasoned storyteller, enjoys story performances for all ages, but much of her work is with Elders, care givers, and health care professionals. A newcomer to Ageless Grace, she incorporates it into storytelling retreats. Morning Stretch

Wake up and warm up with early morning stretching and playful movement.  Move to music, imagery, and your breath.  Get ready for the day.

Leader: Linda Marchisio,  An experienced storyteller and library media specialist, performs and offers workshops for all ages. Two of her original stories are published in Holiday Stories All Year Round.  As a book discussion leader, she won the Wilbur Cross Award. Prayer Services

Welcoming in Shabbat Together

Creating a tradition, we will once again share a Friday night meal at Sharing the Fire.   Bring your own food or a vegetarian dish to share.  We will provide candles, wine for Kiddush and challah.  All are invited!  Everyone is welcome to bring a short reading, a prayer or song to share. Saturday Morning Prayers

Andrea Kamens will lead morning prayers.  Jews and non-Jews welcome to join for a smattering of songs, psalms and prayers, time for private reflection/silent Amida, and a short story tied to the weekly Torah and Haftara readings in honor of the Jewish Sabbath. Hebrew and English. Please bring your own prayer book and ritual items if you have them.
