Rose Saia began storytelling in 2016 and surprised herself by winning Moth story slams; she is now a Boston Moth Grand Slam finalist. She became a Massmouth “Big Mouth Off” semifinalist and featured teller at WGBH’s “Stories from the Stage.” She is the co-producer of “Fugitive Stories,” a monthly showcase of “moth inspired true stories told live” held in Acton, MA.

In addition to co-producing Fugitive Stories, Rose teaches story writing and presentation skills in workshops or one-on-one. For businesses and organizations, she is available to lend her expertise with team building, social media outreach, copy-writing, sales and fundraising. A compelling story not only captivates; it ties together messages in websites, social media, brand awareness and sales.

Rose has been a marketing director in non-profit and services organizations. Simultaneously, she was a coach/adviser for students at Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a CEO forum leader for women-led businesses with The Commonwealth Institute. She guided start-up CEOs to the acquisition of investment capital in her role with The Capital Network. She had a 20+ career in high tech which culminated with a seven year run as CEO of a software company that she successfully sold.

Rose has won awards for social responsibility and entrepreneurship from Boston Business Journal’s Mass High Tech and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (now the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship). She has been published as a featured columnist and contributor to MetroWest newspapers as well as The New York Times.
